If you are thinking of signing up for Monster Dash, and you want to choose a costume to run or walk in, here are some tips:
- Make sure to pick loose fitting clothing, and of course you may wish to include some fabric that wicks sweat off in the event that you are exercising for over an hour. Costume Running can be both fun and comfortable and not compromise your desire to show off your embroidery or knitting skills!
- Bright colors are a great idea if your run is at Night, like Monster Dash is, or consider a costume that allows for lights, neon patches or other glow in the dark items that show off your costume better.
- Accessories like a dog, a baby stroller or baby jogger can enhance your overall theme, whether or not you have a real baby to put inside doesn't matter!
- Running shoes are obviously important, and necessary, but you can cover them up or add some flair to the shoes if your costumes needs that extra touch. Yours truly was Spiderman a few times so I spray painted old running shoes in RED!
